ECLA's Packet Engine (PE) Processors are optimized to perform Packet Processing and can be combined with our Content Inspection Processors for efficient, wire speed Deep Packet Inspection
applications.
The Packet Engine Processor is available:
- As a core for Xilinx or Altera, operates at up to 10Gbps full duplex (20Gbps)
- Linux user application: operates at up to 2-3Gbps depending on Linux system architecture.
- VxWorks application
- Intel IXP28xx microcode.
- Multicore processor application (Raza, Cavium Octeon)
